All American Lager

This is our classic American lager. It’s a simple, crisp, refreshing beer with light malty sweetness and just enough hops to make a balanced brew.

5.1%

Nitro Oatmeal Stout

Serving this beer on nitrogen provides a smooth and creamy texture to the beer. The oats also enhance the texture of the beer which combines well with the roasted flavors of a dark stout like black coffee and chocolate.

Tin Lizzie German Wheat Beer

Also known as a hefeweizen, a German style wheat beer uses a unique yeast that makes banana and clove flavors, kind of like liquid banana bread.

5.8%

Red Rock Belgian Wheat Beer

A Belgian style witbier is brewed with orange peel and coriander. It has a honey sweetness with citrus and floral notes. Our recipe is unique among more traditional witbiers since it has a simple yeast and does not use a lot of hops, which often contributes that “beer” flavor, so this is a great beer for people who think they don’t like beer.

Columbus Confection IPA

A hazy or New England style IPA is a juicy IPA with low bitterness and lots of fruity hops. Columbus Confection is loaded with hops that bring flavors of citrus and tropical fruit.

Barleywine

This is one of the most complex beer styles. Lots of malted barley is used for rich malty flavors and a high alcohol content. The extra alcohol means extra fruity esters from fermentation. And the extra malty sweetness needs extra hops to balance out the beer. All of these combine for an incredibly complex beer packed full of flavor.

11%

Grapefruit Pale Ale

This is a west coast style pale ale, which means it has a significant bitterness from the hops, and it has more sweet malty character to balance out the bitterness. The hops used give piney, herbal, and citrus flavors, especially grapefruit. Grapefruit peel was added to amp up the grapefruit flavors even more, and it combines well with the bitterness.

Oktoberfest Märzen

Our Märzen is a traditional Oktoberfest beer style from Germany. It is an amber colored lager with notes of toasted bread and a malty sweetness.

This type of lager is named after März, the German month of March, because it was brewed in the early spring while the weather was still cool. The beer was then kept in cool caves or cellars until late September when it was served at Oktoberfest.

6.4%

Tropical Sour (Mango) and Pineapple Sour

A fruited sour beer, with mango added to half, and pineapple to the other half. A special yeast is used that ferments like regular brewing yeast while also creating acidity and some apple and peach flavors. The mango flavor is more subtle and combines with the apple and peach flavors to make it taste like a fruity tropical drink. The Pineapple is more obvious and has an intense pineapple aroma with a refreshingly tart flavor.

Hop Mess Pilsner

This dry-hopped pilsner uses 100% Nebraska grown hops from our friends at Christensen Hop Farm. A crisp refreshing beer with a light cracker note and a nice floral hoppy flavor.

Dark Star Black Lager

Dark Star Black Lager is no longer on tap.

This classic beer is an old favorite of Gottberg fans! The black lager, also known as a schwarzbier, is back at Gottberg after a decade. It has a beautiful dark color and a smooth, easy-drinking palate balanced with sweet malt flavors and a hint of chocolate. Dark beer lovers will definitely enjoy this beer, while those who think they don’t like dark beers might be convinced by this lager with less of the roasted flavors that are often found in stouts or other dark beer styles.

Bramble Berry Lager

Brambleberry Lager is no longer on tap.

Raspberry and blackberry flavors combine with our classic lager recipe for a deliciously sweet and fruity beer.
